A word from Ms Morrison and Ms Cato

It's all about becoming a junior in Green Class as it's the first year of Key Stage 2.

The children become much more independent as the year progresses and everybody rises to the challenge. The children get to come upstairs for the first time which is very exciting! Lunch starts half an hour later too, so it's even more important to have a proper breakfast!

Children study fantastic topics such as The Romans and The Tudors in History.

In Science they learn about Healthy Eating, Rocks and Soils and How Plants Grow.

In the Summer term they go swimming for the first time which is always eagerly anticipated.
